Disaster Alert: March 4 & 5, 2022
On Friday and Saturday, March 4-5, 2022, intermittent rainfall flooded hundreds of homes in the northern region of Haiti. Many families have lost their personal belongings, including their farms, cattle and businesses. Furthermore, many road sections have been covered with mud and water, deeply complicating transportation in those areas.
Most of the devastation has been registered in the towns of Pilate, Limbe and Plaisance. So far, 140 beneficiaries across ten Child Development Centers (CDCs) have been affected.
