Scholarship Raffle

The May raffle to pay for student lunches every Wednesday was a great success! We celebrated the inauguration of the ASEAC youth offices with games, food and the raffling of various prizes. We were also honored by the opening speeches of the Cotacachi Mayor Alberto Anrango and UNORCAC president, Rumñahui Anrango. The prizes raffled off were: 1 piglet of a good breed, 1 cell phone, 1 blender, 1 clothes iron, 1 entire traditional women's indigenous outfit, and 1 entire traditional men's outfit.

The money earned by the raffle is going towards paying for the scholarship student´s lunches. Every Wednesday the scholarship students meet for eco-club, but they arrive directly from elementary or high school having only eaten breakfast. Therefore we would like to continue providing lunches for our students on Wednesdays.
