Gang violence in Haiti is placing many children and their families at serious risk.
Since 2021, Haiti has experienced compounding crises, from natural disasters to severe economic instability. Recently, this has led to extreme political turmoil, with gangs seeking control of the country through violence.
Most of the capital city, Port-au-Prince, is currently controlled by gangs, and other areas of the country have been affected as well.
Yet, even amid crisis, the Church can’t be stopped. As the lifeline of the community, the local church follows Jesus into places of desperate need and responds with courage, strength and hope.
Our local church partners in Haiti are moving to provide practical support to the most vulnerable children and their families. You can join us in this mission by partnering with us in prayer. You can stay up-to-date on this ongoing crisis here.
