Minga in the space UNORCAC has given to the ASEAC scholarship students

We had a minga this past Saturday to weed and accommodate the small piece of land that UNORCAC has given to the ASEAC scholarship students to make into their own office. Eventually we would like to have a small organic garden in this space.

Also Carlos Alta (The President of ASEAC) had petitioned the Cotacachi local government to provide materials, such as concrete, tiling, glass for windows and electricity and just signed the contract this past Tuesday. The Cotacachi local government will donate the construction materials and the parents of the scholarship students have agreed to put in the labor to construct the final wall, put in tiling and anything else that needs to be done.
